Marketing & Shipping Coordinator - Chartering Specialist

This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end chartering process, ensuring seamless vessel acquisition, negotiation, and execution of agreements to optimize freight logistics.

As a Chartering Specialist, you will work closely with clients to understand their shipping needs, coordinate with vessel owners, and manage the entire chartering process from contract negotiation to vessel delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced maritime environment and contribute to the growth of Private Advertiser's chartering division.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Coordinate with clients to understand and fulfill their shipping requirements.
• Negotiate and manage vessel chartering contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Work with vessel owners and operators to secure vessels for chartering.
• Monitor vessel performance and ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
• Prepare and submit chartering agreements, including all necessary documentation.
• Provide regular updates and reports on chartering activities to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new clients and vessels.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in maritime logistics.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maritime logistics, chartering, or a related field.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with maritime software and systems, such as VesselFinder, MarineTraffic, or similar.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid maritime certification (e.g., STCW, OIM, or similar) is a plus.
